CLAR 9000 is an artwork of the group exhibition INSERT COIN. The exhibition INSERT COIN takes on the liberalized market as a modern "gambling house" and transforms it into the art context. Eight revitalized and modified arcade slot machines allow consumers access to the incorporated media artworks through a familiar interface and handling.
The CLAR 9000 is a classic arcade game with a present "human unit", in this context the artist herself. The joystick allows you to follow drawing movements from the human game unit. During the process of the game CLAR9000 emerges as a self - willed algorithm, which acts independently: the player has to subordinate himself to the artificial intelligence.
